Dear collegues, Let us introduce the International Journal of Medical Students (IJMS),
a peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal, created to
share the scientific production and experiences of medical students
worldwide.
Currently listed at IndexCopernicus™ Journals Master List, our
objective is to be the primary diffusion organ for medical students,
using standards that accredit the process of scientific publication.
The Editorial Board is formed by Mentors, world renowned
physician/scientists from the most distinguished institutions; Editors,
who are medical students from all continents with experience in
research and the publication process, and Advisors who are
physicians starting their careers as investigators.
The International Journal of Medical Students receives manuscripts
in which there has been participation of at least one medical
student or physician up to two years after graduation. We welcome
submission of Original Articles, Reviews, Short Communications,
Case Reports, and we have a Special Section that includes
Letters, Experiences, Interviews and other type of publications
from all areas and fields.
We invite you to submit your valuable work for publication through
our website. Please follow the
Instructions for Authors when preparing your manuscript. More
information about our editorial policy and the electronic
submission system, visit www.ijms.info or contact us directly
for any remaining inquiries.

Are you an executive member of a medical student' organization or company, and would you like participate in IJMS?
External institutions to IJMS, have two ways to participate: As Partners or Sponsors.
Partners are medical students' associations from a country or region that have adopted IJMS as a recognized publication by their organization, and will provide their institutional support. Some of the benefits include the publication of abstracts of their scientific meetings as Supplement Issues of the Journal, submission of short communications on the outcomes of such meetings, and the opportunity to submit other types of articles in the Special Section.
Sponsors are organizations or companies that provide funding for the Journal, in exchange of advertising and brand deployment, according to the terms established in the IJMS Sponsor Booklet. If you are interested in participating as a Partner or Sponsor in IJMS, email us at
